InHand Networks IR302, IR305, IR315, and IR615 industrial routers have all achieved EN 18031 series certification, meeting the EU’s new mandatory wireless device cybersecurity requirements effective August 1, 2025.

This certification not only underscores our enhanced network-security capabilities but also grants these IoT connectivity products the core compliance credentials needed for EU market entry—supporting global customers through every stage of deployment, safety approval, and procurement.

EN 18031: Upgraded Cybersecurity Standard for Communication Devices

EN 18031 is a vital supplement to the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED), defining on-device cybersecurity requirements. Starting August 1, 2025, any wireless device with networking or data-transmission capabilities must meet EN 18031 to carry the CE mark and access the European market.

Core Security Pillars:

  • Data Encryption: Safeguards information in transit
  • Device Authentication: Blocks unauthorized access
  • Remote-Attack Protection: Reduces risk of remote takeover or tampering
  • Deploy with Compliance and Confidence
